ASCO's Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) is an oncologist-led, practice-based quality improvement program. QOPI's goal is to promote excellence in cancer care by helping practices create a culture of self-examination and improvement. The process employed for improving cancer care includes measurement, feedback and improvement tools for hematology-oncology practices. |

About the QOPI Program:
Practices must be registered to participate in data collections. New practices can register for QOPI at any time, but should register at least one month prior to the start of a data collection round to receive e-mail notifications regarding training and materials for the round.
Who Can Participate?
QOPI is an ASCO member benefit currently available to US-based practices with at least one ASCO member in good standing. There is no charge to register/participate in QOPI; participating sites bear the internal costs of chart abstraction. Data collection occurs twice per year, in spring and fall, for a five week period. Details regarding the program can be found through the links on the left.
